ABOUT ME

When I was five, I introduced myself by saying, "My name is Jasmine. I want to own a library someday."

As a 12-year-old I said, "I'm going to be a lawyer!"

And at 18, I declared my determination of going to medical school.

Now, I say, "Hey. I'm Jazzy. I want to go on an adventure. Would you like to join me?"

Sometime prior to my second semester of college, I realized that medical school wasn't for me. Thus began my journey to where I am now, a Digital Marketing professional with a passion for content writing, design, and digital marketing strategy.

I thrive in situations that challenge me to be more creative, more innovative, and more present. I have a wide array of skills and experiences that my liberal arts degree has helped me attain and that I have since put into practice since my graduation in May of 2016.

Event planning and digital media marketing have become two new loves in my life, second best only to J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter.

Promoting educational, gender, and racial equality has come to provide me purpose in life.

The challenge of getting to know people drives me to be kind, friendly, and open to everyone I meet.

I've learned to introduce myself as what I want to be called rather than let other people make that decision for me.

And, above all, I learned that the root of my dreams never really changed.

I may not want my own library anymore, but I do want to learn something new every day.

Though law school isn't in my future, I never want to become complacent in life. I still believe in the importance of standing up for others and asking the simple question of "Why?"

And while medical school is admirable, I realized that I don't need a medical degree to make an impact.

What I do need is something that will challenge me to be more creative, more innovative, and more present.

Each day is a new adventure, and I want you to take that adventure with me. If you have any questions about my passions or if you want to grab a cup of coffee so I can learn about yours, feel free to shoot me an e-mail or connect with me on social media.
